From the beginning of my life, athletics has been a massive part of my life. I grew up playing sports. I still consider myself an athlete and I always will. Fitness and exercise come naturally to me and is a second nature. For so many years it was engraved in my routine and has always been my passion.
Nutrition was another playing field I grew up familiar with, since my childhood I was taught by my father how to cook. My mother was a dietician at the local hospital, so we always had full meals: 1/2 plate non starchy veggies, 1/4 protein & 1/4 carbs. Throughout the years, cooking has been a side hobby. Something I have always enjoyed doing. Since founding my company in 2014 I have worked with hundreds of individuals and athletes from high school to professional level.
As an athlete, mindset, and fitness coach, I am mindful of what I put into my body. Our body is greatly impacted by what is on the end of our fork - energy, mood, skin, and personality. As a retired professional athlete, I understand that following a healthy, balanced diet is far from easy. I used to believe that performing and looking my absolute best meant I had to under-eat the same boring foods over and over. I learned the hard way that restricting my food only restricted me farther from my goals and my actual happiness.
